Hurmashica

It is a fantastic dessert that grabs the taste from the first moment you just try it.

Ingredients

  • 400 gr miell
  • 2 egg
  • 2 cups of coffee olive or corn oil
  • 1 cup of tea with milk or yogurt
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 packets with baking powder (find it in the supermarket)

For the syrup

  • 700 gr sugar
  • 1 liter of water
  • A lemon

Preparation of the Syrup

Firstly, AgroWeb.org instructs you to prepare the syrup.

Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and put on the fire to simmer. When the boiling has started, add the minced lemon in very small pieces or small slices..

Once the mass takes the form of syrup remove from heat and allow to cool.

Preparation of Biscuits

In a deep bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar, then add the olive or corn oil and continue to beat the mass until it becomes uniform and creamy.

Add the milk and finally the baking flour and powder.

Knead the dough until it becomes homogeneous and does not stick to the hands.

Divide the dough into very small balls, not larger than a grain of are.

The balls are given a round or oval shape, spread with a foil, a few holes are made in the surface with a fork and placed in a pan coated with a little oil.

Put in the preheated oven with 200 degrees and leave to bake until their surface becomes reddish.

WHEREAS, the moment you turn off the stove, biscuits as they are hot pour half the syrup and 15 minutes later discard the rest of the syrup.

Dates are served cold and are fantastically paired with crushed walnuts or almonds on top but also with ice cream as well.
