4 - Meeting with Allah

A great meeting
on a promised day
among the awliya of Allah
and Allaah the Exalted

She is Jeumul-Mezid
day of addition (of reward)
for the dwellers of Paradise
reward after winning

“O inhabitants of Paradise!”
a caller calls
hurry to the meeting
that the Almighty is waiting for you

"We listen and we submit"
they answer
gather together
go to certain places

Layers of light appear
with gold and pearls
where they sit according to degrees
in layers of precious stone

So longing
wait impatiently
they have dreamed
that we dunja this meeting

Until a strong light
grips the whole of Paradise
they raise their heads
they see the Almighty

They see the Almighty
who has come from above and honored them
and their hearts
has made them happy

Their eyes are refreshed
at a glance
in the Noble Face of Allah
look with joy

Blessed is he who will attend
at that meeting
his face would shine
and in your heart you will feel joy

In that great meeting
on that promised day
where they talk happily
with Allah the Exalted

Imagine yourself
among them
May Allah bless you and me
one of them ..!
