Manal Rostom has a message for all the girls with Burkini

Egyptian athlete, influencer in the world of fitness, clinical pharmacists, founder of Surviving Hijab; Manal Rostom is undoubtedly an outstanding and extremely successful activist. In addition to her career as a Nike Run Club trainer and inspirational position as an image (for the first time) e Nike Pro Hijab, it has also achieved some important records as well:

Has managed to conquer 3 from the highest mountains in the world, including Kilimanjaro, in aid of the construction of the first Pediatric Oncology Unit of Palestine, as well as in support of several Autism charities.

Has run several international marathons to raise money for Syrian refugees, homeless in America and planting trees all over Egypt, as well as the London Marathon, in which she ran in 2019 me Penny Appeal.

In connection with an incident where she was obstructed by a girls party at one of the pools in the country, she in response did not give up participating by entering through a zoom link, parallel to a beach for women and girls only in Dubai.

"Did you know that in some hotels and beach resorts in Arab countries like Egypt and Lebanon, women wearing BURKINI are PROHIBITED to swim in certain pools?

The same racist countries continue to show their discrimination by "designing" specific pools that women with hijab can use in isolation.. Idiocy! The reason behind this stop is related to a long time ago when BURKIN did not exist. Muslim women were fabricated wearing sweaters and cotton t-shirts. Cotton does not do well with chlorinated water. But that then turned into a stereotype.

So far every veiled woman is banned because resort owners are just too lazy to educate themselves to find out that actually Burkini is from the same Bikini material only it has a few more pieces. Women without courage choose to remain silent and leave Some are brave and report these incidents to us. Just because we CHOOSE to cover our body does not mean it is easy. I keep my hijab ready 20 YEARS, i still feel insecure in burkini when there are so many bikinis. Why? Because I feel that people sometimes look down on me or treat me differently just because the way I look does not fit their worldview..

Remember how people treat you is a reflection of their behavior and their narrow-mindedness, and not because you deserve it.

I just wanted to make this clear before we dive into a summer with burkini bans and hijab bans in general. ”/ Muslimania.al/
