Two people infected with coronavirus in Albania are carriers of the "Omicron" variant, declared today epidemiologist Eugena Tomini.
Tomini stressed that currently the dominant variant of the coronavirus is the "Delta" variant, rated as most transmissible.
Explaining that "Omicron" has the property to distribute many times faster than previous variants, Tomini said that “in such conditions it is necessary, observance of restrictive measures ”.
OTHERWISE, The Ministry of Health reported that two people lost their lives in 24 last hours due to COVID-19 in Albania, causing the total number of pandemic victims in the country to reach 3180. /tch/
