License plate agreement, MIA so far issues over 6 thousand stickers
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announces that the implementation of the agreement reached in Brussels between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia is being successfully implemented and the placement of temporary license plates (stickers) is being continued with a high dynamic.
According to the MIA, in terms of sticker administration, of data 04 October to date (06 October) have been released in total 6,365 stickers of which 4,698 from Border Crossing Points and 1,667 from Vehicle Registration Centers.
Among the municipalities with the most requests for stickers from Vehicle Registration Centers are: Zvecan (338), Gracanica (329), Zubin Potoku (228), Leposavic (198), OCS (109), Strpce (88), Oyster (53), Obilic (53), Novo (48), etc.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also informs the citizens that until now the work at the Border Crossing Points and Vehicle Registration Centers is continuing without any incident and the agreement is being implemented strictly..
In the end, the Ministry of Internal Affairs called on all citizens to be provided with stickers up to 8 October at the Vehicle Registration Centers and the nearest police stations, otherwise the Kosovo Police will fine drivers who do not implement this decision.
