Erdogan: There will be no early elections in Turkey

President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stated today that there will be no early elections in the country, but that they will be held in June of the year 2023 on a regular basis, reports Anadolu Agency (AA).
Addressing the Justice and Development Party's Club of Representatives (AK Party) in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Erdoğan comments on opposition circles' claims for possible early elections in the country.
"There are no early elections in Turkey. This is the rule of law. "Elections will be held when they are scheduled.", tha Erdogan.
Emphasizing that current economic developments are not the result of events in Turkey, but the result of changes in the global economy, Erdoğan said the new economic plan ensures the well-being of all Turkish citizens, and not just those who have money in banks and who export.
“Programs, which we announced yesterday to bring the exchange rate to the level of reality in our country within the rules of a free market economy, has achieved its goal ", tha Erdogan.
He stressed that Turkey is determined to protect the profits of all its citizens under exchange rate and inflation pressure..
"By ensuring that malicious speculators get their hands off our country, we are trying to ensure that the free market operates according to its own rules ", tha Erdogan.
He also said that Turkey has started to pay support to farmers who are facing the damage caused by drought and that it is about total support from 2.6 billion liras.
Erdoğan said he would soon announce the good news about the development and production of the TURKOVAC vaccine against COVID-19.
"With God's help we will make the TURKOVAC vaccine available to the whole world, for all mankind ", tha Erdogan. /aa
