In Vushtrri women are not discriminated in employment because of the headscarf

Mayor of Vushtrri, Xhafer Tahiri, together with his wife, met in his office, female employees in municipal public institutions wearing headscarves.

Mayor Tahiri is interested to understand more about the way women with headscarves were received in municipal public institutions.

"In Vushtrri, starting from the Office of the Mayor to preschool institutions, there are employees over 10 women with headscarves and this is welcomed by both institutions and citizens ", said Tahiri.
