Baklava recipe with cream cheese December 23, 2021
Have you ever considered adding cream cheese to baklava and getting a wonderful dessert?
This is a multi-layered dessert, texture and taste.
At the bottom there is a crunchy layer and a nutty mixture that softens with honey servings.
Ingredients
200 g butter
12-14 ready-made noodles
Pistachios and nuts to taste
For mixing nuts:
225 g arra
225 g pistachio
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
For service:
240 ml of water
200 g sugar
85 g honey
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1-2 teaspoon rose water
Cream:
450 g cream cheese
230 g sour cream or yogurt
133 g sugar
3 egg
60 ml pana
1 tablespoons of lemon peel
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Process in a mixer 225 g arra, 225 g fistëkë, . Teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon until you get a thick mass.
Set aside and continue preparing the service.
In a small saucepan combine all the ingredients for the serving and let simmer until the sugar is dissolved.
Take 1/3 serve in the nut and pistachio mixture and mix until combined. Set the rest of the serving aside to cool.
Meanwhile preheat the oven to 170 degrees C and prepare the pan for baking the baklava by coating it with butter.
Also open the noodles and cover them with a damp towel so they do not dry out during work.
To prepare the cream, combine the cream cheese with the sugar in a bowl and process it with an electric beater on medium speed., until the mass becomes homogeneous.
Add the eggs one by one, yogurt sauce, pane, vanilla salt and extract.
Finally add the cornstarch and beat well until the ingredients are completely combined.
Take a noodle and open it in the pan, allowing it to hang from the edges of the casserole.
Butter the noodles one by one until the bottom and sides of the pan are completely covered. You will need around for this 8-10 noodles.
Spread evenly 1/2 of mixing nuts over noodles. Then pour over the cream mixture and sprinkle with the remaining nuts.
place 2-3 other layers covering the cream and nuts well. Do not forget to grease the noodles with butter!
Bake this dessert for 45-50 minutes in preheated oven, until it takes on a golden brown color.
If after 30 minutes the noodles bake more, lay out the noodles again for the rest of the baking.
